Until the end of 2024 BQA was certifying a management system controlling the recycled content in products.
We are happy to announce that the certification bodies BQA and Centexbel have come to an agreement to transfer the QA-CER certification scheme from BQA towards Centexbel from January 1st, 2025. To that end, a new Centexbel QA-CER requirements document and certification rules document have been developed and are available through the following link : https://www.centexbel.be/en/certification/centexbel-qa-cer-recycled-content
The requirements of this new product certification scheme are fully in line with the requirements for the BQA management system certificate.
The new Centexbel QA-CER certification scheme has been accredited by the Belgian accreditation body BELAC according to the product certification rules as set out in ISO 17065. This will allow the holders of this new certificate to answer questions and obligations set out by different national governments imposing accredited product certifications for recycled content.
The management system certification of BQA QA-CER will be phased out to allow every certificate holder to make the transition towards the product certificate.
The transition from BQA towards Centexbel certificates will be organized by the joint BQA-Centexbel staff which you can contact through QA-CER@centexbel.be or secretariat@bqa.be.
